NP 15:25 + 12 S is an inorganic complex fertilizer produced through the chemical neutralization of extraction phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid with ammonia, followed by granulation. The result is a uniform, durable granule with excellent phosphorus solubility, ideal for soils rich in mobile potassium but low in available sulfur. It is suitable for main, pre‑sowing, and in‑sowing fertilization of cereals, oilseeds, legumes, and perennial crops.
Nitrogen is present in ammonium form, and its uptake depends on nutrient solution pH, plant growth stage, and carbohydrate availability. In the presence of phosphorus, ammonium nitrogen is absorbed more efficiently. Nitrogen is most critical during periods of rapid vegetative growth, such as tillering and jointing in cereals and early development stages in corn.
Phosphorus plays a central role in energy transfer and is a key component of ATP. Its functions include:
The high phosphorus content in NP 15:25 + 12 S ensures strong early development and improved crop productivity.
Potassium enhances resistance to low temperatures, fungal diseases, and lodging. It activates enzymes involved in nitrogen metabolism, increasing total protein and gluten content and improving grain quality. Potassium also strengthens drought tolerance.
Sulfur is essential for photosynthesis and protein formation. It becomes available to plants as sulfate after microbial processing of organic matter, a process slowed by cold soils in early spring. Sulfur contributes to:
